Feb 12 to Mar 11

Don't know if I'm going to track anything but food this month, but since we're back on food stamps, I want to do this again!

I caught a bunch of great sales :) I also had to pay more for some things at a different store because they were out at the cheaper one :( Hmmm... I got charged for extra quantities of a couple things, but I saw the cashier scan my 24-pk of bottled water but it didn't show up on my receipt :shrug So I came out ahead after all :p

If I only needed a couple things, I went across the street to the more expensive store instead of fighting traffic to get to the cheaper one...

I still have PB and a lot of chocolate left ;) I was out of some types of chocolate to start the month and wanted to make sure I had enough to bake etc. My pantry shelves have a good bit of food on them, and my big freezer is nicely stocked. It's really nice to end the month knowing I have plenty, especially since this is the first time since September we've had a fair bit of surplus!

And this month of groceries is ended :) I spent about $655, plus what I wasn't charged for. But if I had been charged for the other, I would've still spent about $655, it just would've been spent a bit differently.
